JULIE REED
JULIE REED AIFD, CFD, the owner, director and primary instructor of the Las Vegas School of Floral Design. Purchased the school to assist and improve the quality of the floral industry. Her background stems back over 30 years when she took a one year floral design class in her Native county the UK and working with her parents in a family owned flower shop. Upon arriving in USA she has had the opportunity to create floral design work for many award winning Rose Bowl parade floats, Movie sets, NBC studios daily television shows, Celebrity events and weddings, working her way up to teacher has giver her the experiences on many levels in the floral industry. Experiences included obtaining a California Vocational Teachers Credential at CA Sate Long Beach, placing in top ten competitions, AIFD certification and the owner of Julie Reed Events a full service Floral and Event Design Company.
Ms.Reeds knowledge of floral industry, trends, and products, will continue to make this school the best in the country.

The Las Vegas floral industry is forever evolving creating the need for floral designs in all areas. Upon successful completion of hours required for each class and supported grades, the student will receive a certificate of hours completed. Graduation from this program offers the opportunity to find employment with the skills necessary to be competitive.

CAROLYN FOWLER, M.Ed
CAROLYN FOWLER, M.Ed, has been in the floral industry for over 40 years. Her teaching career has been in the public and private sectors at Community Colleges and private floral schools in Southern California and Southern Nevada.
Ms. Fowler received her Floral Design and Shop Management certificate from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, Ca. She completed a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Adult Education at UNLV. Carolyn was inducted into AIFD in 2003 and is a co-author of the AIFD Guide to Floral Design.
Along with employment as a designer at shops and casinos in California and Nevada, Carolyn has designed curriculum for certificates and degrees in floral design for the schools where she served as professor and instructor. Currently, Ms. Fowler works part-time for a local floral design studio and offers her time to AIFD’s South West Chapter.
KENNETH SNAUWAERT, AIFD, CFD
Kenneth Snauwaert AIFD, CFD, has enjoyed a life long journey in the floral design industry spending most of his career in retail as both flower shop owner and manager.For many years he worked at the Bellagio Resort and most recently, as the Creative Floral Designer at the Venetian Resort in addition to teaching at College of Southern Nevada department of Floral Design Technologies. If you’ve ever been on the strip and seen the lobby and high profile areas of these hotels Kenneth was responsible for those beautiful arrangements.He was also on the interior gardens creative design team at both properties.
His passion fuels his creative force for floral design with his floral design shows and workshops inspiring many. Kenneth is a certified member of the American Institute of Floral Designers, an AIFD Evaluator/ Judge and has served since 2016 as the South West Chapter Representative to the AIFD National Board.
